Fiber Scope Inspections

The Fiber Scope Inspection

A Fiber Scope Inspection is a unique visual inspection process that uses real-time visual observation, recording and remote data logging thru video or photos of areas that are either to difficult to reach or to dangerous to access.

The Fiber Scope makes use of a 5.5mm, (0.3") lens outfitted with a variety of built in mirrors and adjustable lighting to transmit high quality, high resolution color images back to a monitor for viewing. The images are stored and saved in electronic files to be down loaded as photos or videos on a DVD or sent as electronic images by e-mail to the requester.

For team or group review of a Fiber Scope Inspection, images can be displayed on monitors or transmitted electronically to a remote location for viewing.

Seeing The Unseen

Using a fiber scope, a trained and qualified inspector from Equity Home Inspection, LLC can see in places most home inspectors or service technicians cannot see or access. A Fiber Scope Inspection can be non invasive if there is a built-in viewing access port, access panel or opening wider than 5.5mm. For areas without a viewing access port or panel a small hole must be drilled to gain viewing access.

Fiber Scope Inspections can be performed on:
