Equity Home Inspection, LLC gets its heritage from 41 years in the building industry and currently holds a Virginia State Contractors License. David M. Thompson, the owner and Director of Operations, is a full time AHIT Certified Home Inspector.
Well versed in the fields of construction design, new construction, remodeling and renovation, he was responsible for the successful completion of projects for private residences, commercial businesses, educational and institutional facilities, medical research facilities, federal and military projects.

After retiring from a major communications company in 2008 as the Safety, Risk Management & Environmental Compliance Manager, David established a family owned and operated Home Inspection Business in the Northern Virginia area where he has been a long time resident since 1968.
David earned his Home Inspection Certification from the American Home Inspection Training Institute, one of the most respected and leading home inspection training institutions in the United States. He continues to develop his home inspection skills by attending additional ASHI and other training classes relating to the home inspection industry.
